A two times Championship winner Corey Webster is another who is a product of the club’s development programme. He has played 68 games for the Breakers since debuting in 2008. Corey enjoyed an excellent season in 2012-13 averaging 7.6 points per game, a season when he backed up Cedric Jackson and also spent some time in the shooting guard spot. He has scored heavily in the NZNBL for the Wellington Saints and more recently for the Tall Blacks, top scoring in both internationals against the Boomers. Corey will be looking to carry some of that form into the upcoming season when again he will be the back up point guard.
